This is Olivia. She was found in the same back yard Seymour was found. She was found by a dog. She is safe and happy and lives with Seymour now.Horatio Seymour, the Kat ® : Promoting health, wealth and good fortune among stray & feral cats.![]()

There are a lot of feral cats living in the yard where Seymour and Olivia were found. Mom & Dad catch them, spay and neuter them, get them their shots, and let the adults back into the yard. They feed them every day and heat the garage in the winter for them. There has been one cat they have not been able to catch. She has had 17 kittens that we know of so far.The momma kat was also born wild. Mom & Dad were able to catch the rest of the litter, but not her. She is very smart and has not allowed herself to be caught.
When Mom & Dad catch the kittens, they domesticate them so they can be given to a good home. Olivia was the first one of this last litter that we caught. My aunt heard her dog barking and went out to see what was going on. She found the dog barking at poor Olivia, who was about 3-4 weeks old at the time. She was cold, wet and afraid.
I took Olivia home with me. She was easy to domesticate,
it only took a few days for her to be a normal house cat and not be afraid of me. She and Seymour bonded right away. We thought that was the happy ending.
A few days later, Mom called and said she found another kitten in the yard. My niece, Jenny has taken Senshi under her care and will be keeping him. Senshi was a little harder to gain his trust, but Jenny did. Jenny brings Senshi over to play with Olivia.

A few day after that, Mom called to say they caught the last 2, which I have since named Rosco Conkling and Thomas R. Proctor. They are adorable too. I am working on domesticating them to be ready for their new home. One is the runt of the litter. He has warmed up to me. But still shys away if I try to pick him up when I'm standing up. Otherwise, he will let me hold him and he purrs away. The other one is more wild. He will not let me pick him up and if I do catch him, he screams and scratches. We have a lot of work to do on him. Olivia and Seymour spend their day playing with the runt and the wild one. My brother Gary says he will take them.
And guess what? A few days after the runt and wild kitten were caught, Mom & Dad finally caught The Momma Cat!!! She has been spayed and is back in her place in the yard.
See. There are are happier endings!! >^..^<
